Frequently Asked Questions

Cellphones and laptops may be brought to the facility; however, they will be confiscated upon entry and unavailable until discharge due to HIPAA regulations and to decrease distractions from the treatment program.

To encourage focus on self-improvement and investment in the program, all clients will go through a blackout period in communication with individuals outside the facility during their first week of treatment.

During the rest of the stay, clients will be allowed 15 minutes of supervised phone and computer time each day. Exceptions to both of these guidelines may be made based on clinical recommendation and necessity.

Families, sponsors, and friends are able and encouraged to visit on Fridays and Saturdays during approved hours and pending approval by clinical staff.

All bedding, pillows, and blankets will be provided. Due to state health regulations, we can’t allow clients to bring outside bedding, pillows, or blankets.

Copper Sage Recovery is not a hospital and is not a “lock-down” program. However, due to safety of our clients, they are not to leave the facility with the exception of supervised off-site groups and outings.

When an individual suffers with a substance use disorder, there is often an underlying mental disorder. Dual diagnosis programs take this into account when creating an individualized treatment plan. At Copper Sage, we focus on the treatment of all aspects of our clients. From mental disorders, physical pains, spiritual strife, to occurring substance use disorders.

Copper Sage Recovery allows clients to smoke or vape outdoors during scheduled breaks in designated smoking areas. Should a client desire to bring cigarettes to treatment, all packs must be in original seal. If bringing a vape mod, it should be thoroughly cleaned prior to treatment, and any e-juice should be in original seal.

Cessation treatment and medication as well as nicotine patches and gum are available if a client should desire support in quitting.
